WORLD BOOK DAY
Today is World Book Day. So today is a little different.

Our theme today is ‘share a story’ so we will spend the day sharing our favourite stories with each other.
Task 1: Read some of one of your favourite books and let us know which one it is (you could even give us a clue and get us to guess)
Task 2: Create a book review of your favourite book. Make sure you explain what in particular you like about it and why you recommend it to other children. Book review template posted below

Task 3: Create a mask of a character from one of your favourite books. A mask template is posted below or you could use any materials you have at home and be as creative as you like!

Task 4: Role play a scene from your favourite book. You could do this with a family member, on your own or even with a pet! Send us which scene you did.
Task 5: Design a new front cover for you book. Have a go at being an illustrator and create an eye-catching design for the book that is a little different from the one already used. Book cover template here if needed.

Task 6: Now have a go at writing some of your own story. This can take ideas from some of your favourite stories. What you write the story about is totally up to you. It is a good chance to practice using your descriptive language and to use speech. Let us know what your story is about.
