Due to technical issues, I am unable to add the loom video. If you have access to Netflix watch the first 11and a half minutes of the film’ The Martian.’ Answer the questions on the PowerPoint.Then watch his Transmission from 15.40 minutes into the film.
If you are unable to access it read through the script of the transmission on the PowerPoint. Use tone, pitch, and add expression when you read the transmission. Try it in different ways by stressing different words, using a loud and quiet voice. How can you show your feelings and emotions?
Record your best transmission and send it to Mrs. Staples.
Maths
Good morning Year 5, today in Maths we are learning to subtract mixed numbers breaking through the whole. Pause, rewind and replay the teaching video as many times as you want and work through it at your own pace. Once you feel ready, have a go at the worksheet.. Have a great day!
If you are printing off the worksheet, you may need to go to ‘more settings’ and then change the scale to ‘fit printable area’ so that the worksheet prints off correctly.
